Best restaurants in Fairfax?

Hey everyone, Household incomes average around $132,774 in Fairfax. With a population of 24,478, Fairfax is a small town. Crime rate is something to consider -Fairfax sits at 72.9 per 100K. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. What neighborhoods would you suggest? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cultural scene. it's not perfect but it works for me. Worth doing your research before committing.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 15 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is healthcare. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Oak Park side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
