Best neighborhoods to rent in Fairfield?

Anyone else feel this way? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is healthcare. it was the best decision I ever made. Worth doing your research before committing.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. the quality of life is solid. Compared to San Diego it's average.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value public transit, you'll love it. The traffic is genuinely underrated and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. My neighborhood (Springfield) is stable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from New York, be prepared for the culture shock. cost of living is completely different here. And Summers can be brutally hot.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if pet-friendliness matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I've been living here for 15 years and I'd say it's improved dramatically in recent years. The walkability is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall Feel free to reach out with questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Uptown. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in construction. If you're in consulting you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

Hope this helps!.
