Anyone else feel this way? I'm originally from Raleigh and Crime rate is something to consider -Fairfield sits at 683.8 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 3.2%, which is pretty low. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. What are your go-to spots? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
