Fairfield is underrated, change my mind
Hi all, I'm single, late 40s, and It's a a small town city with about 9,438 people. Poverty rate is 9.8%, which is pretty low. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Does this match your experience? The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
