Been living here since 2007. With a population of 26,183, Fairland is a smaller city. The weather takes some getting used to. Is this normal for Fairland?

I've been living here for 12 years and I'd say it's not perfect but it works for me. The safety is underrated compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by job market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Decent public transit for the size
- The walkability scene is tough
The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Not very walkable outside downtown
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for couples. Happy to answer more specific questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Riverside. It's surprisingly good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in consulting. If you're in government you might struggle.
People: Generally challenging. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: tough. Tons of options if you like Thai.
Hope this helps!.

I've lived in Old Town for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good schools in most areas
- The community vibe scene is improving
The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for retirees. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
