Came here for a fresh start and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The cultural scene is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. the quality of life is solid. Internet is improving in most areas.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value traffic, you'll love it. The dating scene is genuinely excellent and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. My neighborhood (The Heights) is established and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from Boston, be prepared for the culture shock. cost of living is completely different here. And Winters are long and cold.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I've been living here for 13 years and I'd say it's exactly what I was looking for. The housing market is solid compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..

Bought a house here in 2016 and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

Public transit is surprisingly good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.

Weather-wise, the summers are surprisingly good and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.
