What to expect moving to Fairview Park?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm single, late 50s, and Poverty rate is 6.2%, which is pretty low. It's a a small town city with about 17,049 people. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Should I be concerned?

I'm a writer and I've found the quality of life is solid. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cultural scene. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Worth doing your research before committing.

Hot take but I genuinely enjoy living here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 12 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Fairview for 4 years. Moved from Miami for a job opportunity. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is challenging. We bought in 2017 at k and it's now worth up a bit than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 1-bed in a safe area. Lots of new construction which should help.

**Employment:**
finance is strong here. finance is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are developing for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it's improved dramatically in recent years. The outdoor scene is average - we have ski resorts within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Fairview schools are solid. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Nightlife is limited. Limited high-paying job options. And safety can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For couples, I'd say this is a 7/10. Would recommend to anyone considering it.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.
