So, I'm a teacher here and It's a a small town city with about 1,389 people. With a population of 1,389, Fairview is a small town. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Worth the trade-offs?

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.
I've been here 4 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is housing market. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is average.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the Lakewood side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Good luck with whatever you decide..

I've been here 11 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
