Is Fajardo zona urbana good for remote workers?

Longtime lurker here, I grew up here but left for a while. Average temperature is around 79--F, so it's warm year-round. You can expect to pay around $604 for rent here. Homes are going for about $118,400 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Definitely worth checking out..

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Riverside for 2 years. Moved from Denver for cost of living. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is average. We bought in 2021 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 3-bed in a safe area. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts.

**Employment:**
real estate is strong here. construction is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are growing for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I'm still on the fence after all this time. The outdoor scene is surprisingly good - we have rivers within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Riverside schools are hit or miss. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Limited high-paying job options. Bugs and humidity in summer. And public transit can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For remote workers, I'd say this is a 9/10. No regrets on my end.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Weather-wise, the summers are solid and winters are reasonable. You get used to it after the first year.
