I'm retired and Poverty rate is 43.0%, which is higher than I expected. The median home value here is around $118,400, which is actually reasonable. The unemployment rate is 10.2%, which is concerning. With a population of 25,524, Fajardo zona urbana is a smaller city. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Has anyone dealt with this? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
