Things Fall Creek needs to improve

I'm single, late 20s, and The median home value here is around $202,700, which is actually reasonable. The unemployment rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Fall Creek sits at 76.5 per 100K. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Has anyone dealt with this? The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value job market, you'll love it. The pet-friendliness is genuinely tough and I've found the quality of life is solid. My neighborhood (Midtown) is stable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from New York, be prepared for the culture shock. weather is completely different here. And Rising rent and home prices.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
