Not sure if this has been asked before, but Just moved here 11 months ago and Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. Poverty rate is 18.8%, which is higher than I expected. The unemployment rate is 4.9%, which is about average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development.
