Anyone else noticing rent going up fast in Fall River? Over the last year, I feel like prices went up at least 10-15%. I'm paying $1086 for a 2BR which feels okay for the area.
Are there any neighborhoods that are still affordable? Thinking about moving to a cheaper area.

I've lived in Old Town for 12 years and it's still one of the best decisions I made.

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Westside and Pine Grove are perfectly safe.

Traffic is the worst part honestly. But if you live near work it's fine.

Respectfully disagree about the safety concerns. In my experience, there are good opportunities if you network.

Public transit needs work but they're investing in it. Should improve in next few years.

Check out the Maple Heights area. Way more affordable and still close to everything.

Good summary. I'd rate it higher personally — maybe 7/10.

I work in retail and finding a job wasn't hard. Took about 2 months.
