The good and bad of living in Fall River

Alright, I'm originally from San Francisco and Rent is about $1,086/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

My experience has been mostly positive. the quality of life is solid. The only thing I'd watch out for is public transit. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

**What I love:**
1. Good schools in most areas

3. Lots of family-friendly activities

1. Traffic during rush hour is rough
2. Rising rent and home prices
3. The housing market situation is growing and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**

- The Heights: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Quality of Life:**

**Schools (if relevant):**

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 10 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the walkability is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..
