Hello, I'm retired and Average temperature is around 65--F, so the weather is moderate. Rent is about $1,675/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Any advice would be great. Thanks! Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
