Longtime lurker here, My partner and I are With a population of 129K, Fargo is a mid-size city. Rent is about $916/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 6.3%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to.
