Fargo quality of life — am I missing something?
First post here. I've been here for 19 years and Homes are going for about $269,800 on average. Poverty rate is 6.3%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 45°F, so bundle up in winter. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Would love some local perspective. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
