Planning a move to Farmington Hills -neighborhoods?

Random thought, I'm a remote worker and Crime rate is something to consider -Farmington Hills sits at 107.1 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 4.3%, which is pretty low. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Has anyone dealt with this? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 1 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Fairview side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The outdoor recreation is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
