Why I chose Farmington Hills over bigger cities

Crime rate is something to consider -Farmington Hills sits at 107.1 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $1,475 for rent here. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Any advice would be great. The weather takes some getting used to.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want dating scene, then yeah this place is great. But if food scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Weather-wise, the summers are tough and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. safety used to be much manageable but now it's improving.
