Hello, My family moved here when I was a kid. Household incomes average around $49,882 in Farmington. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Any advice would be great. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value community vibe, you'll love it. The food scene is genuinely underrated and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (Sunset) is stable and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from San Francisco, be prepared for the culture shock. pet-friendliness is completely different here. And Property taxes are high.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

My experience has been mostly positive. the quality of life is solid. The only thing I'd watch out for is dating scene. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Worth doing your research before committing.

Came here for work and stayed because the quality of life is solid. The outdoor recreation is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
