Life in Farmington as a young professional

Alright, I relocated for work and Rent is about $993/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 12.9%, which is around average. The unemployment rate is 3.2%, which is pretty low. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Pros:
- Great weather
- Good schools
- Easy commute
- Strong sense of community
- Walkable downtown

Cons:
- Hot summers
- Cold winters
- Limited nightlife
- Not enough green space
Would love some local perspective. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up.
