Housing in Fayetteville compared to Salt Lake City

Longtime lurker here, I work in finance and With a population of 97,227, Fayetteville is a smaller city. Crime rate is something to consider -Fayetteville sits at 447.5 per 100K. Poverty rate is 10.7%, which is around average. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Pros:
- Nice parks and trails
- Growing food scene
- Low crime in most areas
- Good schools

Cons:
- Hot summers
- Few job opportunities in some fields
- Limited cultural events
Any advice would be great. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
