I got a job offer in Fayetteville, AR and I'm seriously considering the move. I'm coming from a small city. A few questions:
1. Which neighborhoods should I look at for a $800-1200 budget?
2. How's the commute situation?
3. Is the crime as bad as the stats suggest?
4. Any hidden costs I should know about?
Thanks in advance!

Don't sleep on Westside. It's up and coming and still affordable.

I've lived in University District for 14 years and it's a hidden gem honestly.

Rent tip: look for places in October-November. Prices drop and there's more availability.

Public transit needs work but they're investing in it. Should improve in next few years.

The food scene here is seriously underrated. So many great restaurants.
