Best industries in Fayetteville right now

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I work in media and Median household income is $56,395, which feels about average for the area. With a population of 210K, Fayetteville is a mid-size city. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Am I overthinking this? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 1 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is walkability. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Cedar Grove side vs the Old Town side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
