Career opportunities in Fayetteville, NC

So, You can expect to pay around $1,179 for rent here. Homes are going for about $171,900 on average. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Would love some local perspective. Thanks! It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

I've lived in South for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The traffic scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Dating scene is rough
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for couples. Hope this helps!.
