Is it worth buying in Fayetteville?

So, I'm retired and Homes are going for about $171,900 on average. The median home value here is around $171,900, which is actually reasonable. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What are your go-to spots? The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are pretty good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Bought a house here in 2017 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone about the same since then.
