Just moved to Fayetteville, any tips?

So, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and You can expect to pay around $1,179 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider — Fayetteville sits at 875.4 per 100K. It's a a mid-size city city with about 210K people. Average temperature is around 63°F, so the weather is moderate. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Is this normal for Fayetteville? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Came here for quality of life and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The nightlife is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
