Is Federalsburg worth it salary-wise?

Curious what people think. I'm originally from St. Louis and Household incomes average around $35,432 in Federalsburg. With a population of 2,818, Federalsburg is a small town. Crime rate is something to consider -Federalsburg sits at 527.9 per 100K. Homes are going for about $125,200 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. Worth the trade-offs? Cheers. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I've lived in Downtown for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good healthcare facilities
- The dating scene scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Dating scene is rough
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for couples. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Hot take but there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. I know a lot of people disagree but after 4 years here, that's my honest assessment.
