Things Felida needs to improve

So, Homes are going for about $643,600 on average. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Anyone in a similar situation? Thanks in advance! The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Bought a house here in 2021 and I love the pace of life here. Property values have gone about the same since then.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Sunset. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in retail. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Southern.

No regrets on my end..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 5 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is healthcare. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
