You can expect to pay around $1,463 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Should I be concerned? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Meadowbrook. It's tough for what you get.
Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in engineering. If you're in tech you might struggle.
People: Generally tough. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: average. Tons of options if you like Indian.
No regrets on my end..
