Couple moving to Fillmore from out of state

Hey, I relocated for work and Crime rate is something to consider -Fillmore sits at 125.7 per 100K. Average temperature is around 66--F, so the weather is moderate. The unemployment rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. What would you do? Looking forward to hearing from you all. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is housing market. it's not perfect but it works for me. Worth doing your research before committing.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want outdoor recreation, then yeah this place is great. But if food scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I have mixed feelings honestly. Compared to Baltimore it's better than expected.
