Healthcare options in Firestone?

Curious what people think. My partner and I are It's a a small town city with about 17,353 people. Rent is about $1,916/month for a decent place. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Is this normal for Firestone? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

I've lived in East for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The pet-friendliness scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for singles. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a data analyst, 30, moved here 12 years ago from Chicago. I've lived in Fairview and Highland, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Four distinct seasons
2. Strong sense of community
3. Lots of family-friendly activities
4. The people are generally excellent - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Summers can be brutally hot
2. Not very walkable outside downtown
3. The dating scene situation is developing and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Fairview: Great for families. average vibes, walkable.
- Highland: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Chicago, everything felt decent. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are wild. Gas is affordable. You can live comfortably on $40K-$130K here.

**Final verdict:**
No regrets on my end.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.
