Is Firestone getting better or worse?

Hello, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Household incomes average around $114,591 in Firestone. Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Thoughts? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

We moved here with our family and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Schools in Maple Ridge area are improving. Kids love it here.
