What's it really like living in Five Corners?

Household incomes average around $102,423 in Five Corners. The median home value here is around $432,800, which is pretty steep. With a population of 21,444, Five Corners is a small town. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. Anyone in a similar situation? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a lawyer who relocated here from San Francisco about 6 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good internet infrastructure
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Winters are long and cold

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are stable, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Used to live on the South side, now on the Midtown side. Completely different vibe. I'm still on the fence after all this time.
