Is public transit usable in Five Points?

Been meaning to ask this. Just moved here 16 months ago and Average temperature is around 54--F, so expect cold winters. Poverty rate is 4.2%, which is pretty low. With a population of 1,928, Five Points is a small town. Crime rate is something to consider -Five Points sits at 66.8 per 100K. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. TIA! Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Came here for quality of life and stayed because it's improved dramatically in recent years. The safety is honestly average and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Hot take but there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. I know a lot of people disagree but after 7 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want nightlife, then yeah this place is great. But if safety matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
