How is Flagstaff for outdoor activities?

Hey everyone, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Average temperature is around 47--F, so expect cold winters. The unemployment rate is 4.2%, which is about average. It's a a smaller city city with about 76,333 people. Rent is about $1,555/month for a decent place. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Does this match your experience? Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is food scene. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..

The food scene here is underrated. Tons of great craft beer places. it's been a really good experience overall.
