Life in Flagstaff as a young professional

Longtime lurker here, I work in manufacturing and Household incomes average around $68,041 in Flagstaff. It's a a smaller city city with about 76,333 people. With a population of 76,333, Flagstaff is a smaller city. Homes are going for about $503,400 on average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What are your go-to spots? Thanks! The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

I've lived in Oak Park for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good schools in most areas
- The dating scene scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for remote workers. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, the quality of life is solid. No regrets on my end..

I've been living here for 9 years and I'd say it's been a really good experience overall. The outdoor recreation is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Public transit is underrated here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it exceeded my expectations.

Used to live on the West side, now on the Midtown side. Completely different vibe. it's exactly what I was looking for.
