My experience has been mostly positive. it's exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I'd watch out for is public transit. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

We moved here with our family and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Schools in The Heights area are average. Kids love it here.

I work in real estate here and I genuinely enjoy living here. The job market for my field is pretty good. No regrets on my end..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from Minneapolis about 14 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Four distinct seasons
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Chain restaurants dominate

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are reasonable, gas is average.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
