Working remotely from Flint — my experience
I've been working remotely from Flint for 2 years now. Here's my take:
The pace of life here is perfect for remote work. No crazy commute stress, affordable living, and enough amenities to not feel isolated.
Cost of living: pretty reasonable
Internet: Decent, getting better with new providers
Coworking spaces: Limited but the library works in a pinch
If you're looking for a place to WFH, Flint is a solid choice.

If you can afford it, Cedar Hills is the best place to live. Period.

For families, I'd recommend looking at Riverside. Schools are rated well and it's quiet.

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Riverside and Midtown are perfectly safe.
