How are the schools in Florence-Graham?

Anyone else feel this way? Median household income is $61,216, which feels about average for the area. Homes are going for about $499,100 on average. With a population of 61,723, Florence-Graham is a smaller city. The unemployment rate is 6.0%, which is about average. Average temperature is around 65--F, so the weather is moderate. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. Worth the trade-offs? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Used to live on the Riverside side, now on the Fairview side. Completely different vibe. it's exactly what I was looking for.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to San Francisco it's hit or miss.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Chicago about 2 years ago. The main reasons were weather and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Strong job market in several industries
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Nightlife is limited

Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are competitive, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Public transit is solid here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.
