The unemployment rate is 6.0%, which is about average. Poverty rate is 17.8%, which is higher than I expected. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. Has anyone dealt with this? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
