Cheapest neighborhoods in Florence?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a college student here and Homes are going for about $189,800 on average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Does this match your experience?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from Denver about 11 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Active local events and festivals
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Limited high-paying job options

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are wild, gas is decent.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Bought a house here in 2021 and it's been a really good experience overall. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
