Hello, Just moved here 12 months ago and The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. The weather takes some getting used to. Does this match your experience? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Bought a house here in 2021 and it's been a really good experience overall. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 14 years and the quality of life is solid. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the community vibe is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Sunset side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is job market. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Worth doing your research before committing.

The food scene here is excellent. Tons of great Indian places. it's exactly what I was looking for.
