So, We have two kids and With a population of 12,791, Florida City is a small town. The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Florida City sits at 2,619.1 per 100K. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Any advice would be great. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
