How are the schools in Florin?

Anyone else feel this way? My partner and I are It's a a smaller city city with about 49,536 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Florin sits at 381.7 per 100K. Poverty rate is 16.3%, which is higher than I expected. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Should I be concerned? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Hot take but it exceeded my expectations. I know a lot of people disagree but after 8 years here, that's my honest assessment.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Lakewood. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in consulting. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Definitely worth checking out..
