Best restaurants in Florissant?

Military spouse here. Median household income is $66,344, which feels about average for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Florissant sits at 187.1 per 100K. It's a a smaller city city with about 51,915 people. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I have mixed feelings honestly. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is underrated in most areas.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are improving, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've lived in Riverside for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from Miami, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Active local events and festivals
- Good airport with direct flights
- The cost of living scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
