Not sure if this has been asked before, but The unemployment rate is 3.6%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,259/month for a decent place. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What would you do? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
