OK so My family moved here when I was a kid. Rent is about $2,191/month for a decent place. It's a a small town city with about 9,666 people. Median household income is $137,768, which feels pretty solid for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Flossmoor sits at 152.0 per 100K. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Anyone in a similar situation? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
