Best things about Flower Mound that nobody talks about

As a 14-year resident, here are some things about Flower Mound that don't make it into the guides:

1. There are amazing hiking trails 20 min from downtown
2. The library system is phenomenal
3. The local craft beer scene is legit

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Riverside and Riverside are perfectly safe.

Coming from Chicago, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are slightly more expensive but housing makes up for it.
