Is Flower Mound good for remote workers?

So, I've been here for 5 years and The unemployment rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $514,100, which is pretty steep. It's a a smaller city city with about 77,886 people. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. What do you all think? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

My experience has been mostly positive. the quality of life is solid. The only thing I'd watch out for is public transit. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Bought a house here in 2020 and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want food scene, then yeah this place is great. But if public transit matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

As someone who grew up here, it's improved dramatically in recent years. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cultural scene used to be much growing but now it's better than expected.
